Oh happy days!! I just received the news from the Federal Reserve...Regulation C HMDA rule changes postponed from January 1, 2003 until January 1, 2004 (except for the use of the 2000 census data) Gives us a little more time to get ready.

Any bit of good news gets me excited!

The release also mentioned that the Board had not yet decided whether or not to require collecting race, ethnicity, and sex information for telephone applications. If they decide to do this, it will be effective 1/1/03.

I'm about as happy about the postponement as I would be about a stay of execution.

OK, I see what you mean Complyguy.....just longer to think about how horrible it is going to be. At least it took a little pressure off right now. Maybe my ulcer will settle down just a little today at least!
