If you were to see the name "vertical assessment associate" what would you think this person's job was?
Because I just saw the title, and yes, it is a government position, hence the feel good title, I suppose.

it is elevator inspector...in the state of AL., anyway...so every time I get on the elevator and see it, I picture a Forrest Gump type guy coming and saying "yep the elevator goes up"...

When I worked in facilities I had to listen to a Vertical Assessment Associate relay his knowledge of Zippo™ lighters for 45 minutes while holding our elevator permit hostage
