Customer comes in with deposits on 10 deposit slips, all to the same account. The deposit slips are all handed to the teller at one time; but are posted to athe ccount as 10 deposits.

For CTR purposes, is this one transaction or multiple transactions?

Thanks

Agree, at least for most banks. If for some reason your institution records the collection as a single transaction, don't check the multiple transactions box in item 1 or record multiple transactions using the new form 112 e-file form. The point of the CTR is to serve as a "locator pointer" to your record(s) of what you're reporting in the CTR. Checking the "multiple transaction" box in item 1 says you're going to look for more than one deposit.
