Can anyone give me direction on the use of an Identification Stamp when cashing checks. The stamp includes areas to fill in such as ID #, State issued, ID type, D.O.B., etc. My main question is - can this stamp be used or is there a privacy issue? Thanx for any feed back.

There are no privacy issues.

Just be certain that no one writes a Social Security number in on the form. A number of states have prohibitions on recording SSNs as ID information for check cashing.
