majored in alcohol, Taco Tico, girls, cars...pretty much in that order...when i got around to attending classes - infrequent as it was - it was for finance...

Finance/Marketing/Accounting (I was undecided and each additional major was only a few extra classes - I started as Elementary Education with a vocal scholarship.)

I can still hear my Tax I Accounting prof introducing herself to the class on the first day: "Allo, my name is Alka Arora. Alka, like the seltzer, Arora like the car, but without the U, you know?". Yeah, that was a long semester.

I can still hear my Tax I Accounting prof introducing herself to the class on the first day: "Allo, my name is Alka Arora. Alka, like the seltzer, Arora like the car, but without the U, you know?". Yeah, that was a long semester. Reading that gave me a flashback to my Advanced Accounting prof, Dr. Emily Chang. She spoke English with a very heavy Chinese accent and was about 4'10". She would have us put our homework problems up on the blackboard and if there was a mistake, she would reach up on her tiptoes and put a big 'X' through the work.

I remember being the only girl in several engineering classes. Talk about awkward. Everyone looked at me like "Is she in the wrong classroom?"
