I want to understand correctly. This is only my second examination. Predecessor flew the coup without properly training me. For invesmtnets. lets say municipal bonds. If we purchase a share of a muni for $400,000 in 2010 but each year we payout only $100,000. How is that reported on the CRA report? $100,000 for each of the 4 years reported? Or $400,000 in 2010 but then outstanding would be 100,000 in each of the 4 years?

I used to have a spreadsheet that shows the year and the amount of dollars committed that year in a separate section and then the amount paid out for each year in an adjoining section. Seems to have worked fine at exam time.

Thanks for the reminder, I need to get a copy of that spreadsheet, it's time to start using it again!
