Our institution has elected to include the reason for denial on the LAR. If a loan is not denied but withdraw by applicant do we need to fill in a denial reason? Our p-eople have been inputting Code 9 Other. I believe it should be blank as the loan is not denied

From the HMDA Guidance: Leave this column blank if the “action taken”on the application is not a denial. For
example, do not complete this column
if the application was withdrawn or the
file was closed for incompleteness.
