Queen Mum Power Poster Joined: Mar 2001 Posts: 3,920 OK	I am officially a Grandma! My daughter went for her 37 week appt and she was already in labor. Since the baby was breech she was immediately scheduled for a C-section. Unfortunately, I was still at work and 2 1/2 hours away! So I missed the big moment but got there not too long after she was back in the room. And I was the last one to leave because I was determined to hold my new granddaughter before I left! Norah was 6 lb 13 oz and 18 1/4 inches long. She had to stay an extra day for jaundice but we brought Mommy and baby home yesterday. They had to go to a medical supply company and get a portable bili-light but hopefully her bilirubin count will go down fast and they can get rid of that. She is a perfect little princess and a really good baby. I am very proud!!

The Grasshopper (my 2nd) had to have bili treatments too; he was done with them by the end of the first week home so I bet Norah will finish up quickly too. The more she eats, the faster it will go. _________________________ I disbelieved what he was saying so hard, I probably created an alternate universe where it wasn't true.
