Is it a requirement for all employees to know the banks CRA rating or just a best practice?

It's not a requirement, but I always include it in my annual CRA training.

One thing every employee should know and especially loan officers is what is included in your CRA Assessment Area. Every year you should distribute maps showing your AA's, especially to those involved in lending. This is not a regulatory requirement but is a best practice. I will bet that fewer than 1% of banks do this.
