Would a general statement that say "save by refinancing now" or "lower your payment by refinancing" count as a comparison under ther rule below?



(2) Misleading comparisons in advertisements. Making any comparison in an advertisement between actual or hypothetical credit payments or rates and any payment or simple annual rate that will be available under the advertised product for a period less than the full term of the loan, unless:

how about use of an example such as: If you have a 30 yr $150,000 mortgage with a 7.0& APR your payment is $997.95/month. If we lower your APR to 4.5% your payment will be $760.00. That is a savings of 237.95.
