Submitted last week via email but have not received the edit report. We have submitted via web in the past and always receive it within one day. I'm starting to worry- is there a phone number we can call or is it only by email.

I think I'm ready, but will probably wait until tomorrow to pull that trigger.

I submitted by email on Friday at about 3:00, and had my edit report on Monday morning when I came to work. If you've checked your junk mail filters, I would email hmdahelp.

I submitted at 3:00 yesterday and had my edit report by 7:00 p.m. The email I received when I submitted said to give them 10 days for the edit report and then email them.

Submitted this morning, already received and responded to the edit report! SIGH. All done (for now).

I received my edit report back within an hour and a half of submission.

Couple of minor things, but mostly quality edits that I just get to say "yep, we did that".

We emailed hmda help about the pending edit report and they said that we need to resubmit because we submitted with the incorrect respondent ID and agency code. Last year we converted from a national bank to a state member bank so we changed the respondent ID and agency code to reflect the change. According to Hmda Getting Right guide appendix D it states to report the change beginning with the year of the change - see below excerpt from appendix d.

"Change in appropriate Federal agency. If the appropriate Federal agency for a covered institution changes (as a consequence of a merger or a change in the institution’s charter, for example), the institution must report data to the new appropriate Federal agency beginning with the year of the change."

The year we changed regulatory agencies is 2013- are we misinterpreting this part. Should we resubmit using the respondent ID and agency code from the OCC instead of FRS? If we submit with the old Respondent ID, is this going to happen again when we file in 2015?

Did you actually discuss the charter change with them? I remember something like this with a client a few years ago and we had to do something manual because their system did not have the bank listed with the new info and it kept rejecting. I don't remember the details!

We emailed them back explaining the charter change... Waiting for their response. We are hoping they respond before the submission deadline. What would happen if we resubmit with the old charter info? Would it be a violation for submitting an inaccurate transmittal sheet?

I'd wait to see what their response is, banker-12. Then, whatever they tell you to do, document it all in case it's questioned during a future exam or audit.

If you don't get an email back today, pick up the phone and call your regulator. Waiting for someone to have time to read and respond to your email three days before deadline could prove totally futile.

They replied back this morning stating that they are going to reprocess it. We just received the edit report. What a relief...SIGH.

Just submitted via web. wowzers that was way easier than emailing it. Why did I resist that method the previous two years?

I started using that as soon as it was available, for both HMDA and CRA. It is very easy.
