Until reading through some old threads, I have never heard of giving teller's established transaction limits. Is this a common practice in many banks? If so, what are some "normal" limits to set and are all teller limits set equally, or is it policy to, for example, give more senior tellers higher limits? Also, what happens when a teller receives a transaction outside his/her limit? Thanks.

This information could be very helpful to a person looking to perpetrate fraud against a bank. I wouldn't mind sharing but you may be a criminal, especially since you are anon and unregistered. Feel free to PM me with your name, address, phone and email and I'd share with you.
