When you mail a customer their monthly bank statement do you have "statement enclosed" printed on the envelope? I feel that this is a risk for identity theft.

We do not. I think most of the big credti card players do though - Capital One, BoA, etc.

From a personal perspective - I like getting the envelope with "Statement Enclosed" on it - I tend to not open a lot of mail assuming that it's my banks and cc companies are sending me junk mail.

Doesn't "Statement Enclosed" or "Invoice" stamped on the outside violate Privacy...as in it states the relationship with the bank? Can anyone point me to a reg or guidance on it? We are wanting something for Safe Deposit billing and I'm concerned that it could be an issue. Thoughts? Thanks!
