We did the bb gun tag. You were only allowed one pump, but some violated that rule. man did those hurt.

We used to have egg fights.

I didn't have time to play games while in class, but I remember lots of paper football being played by some of the less studious members of the group. Outside of class there may have been bottle rocket battles, bb gun wars, tackle tag, and truck surfing.

No kidding. I'm sure Timmy always wanted to be a pirate and have an eye patch.

The Blanket Game, played at home parties, not at school.

The person who was "it" would lie on the floor under a blanket. They were told they had something on they didn't need. You must take it off and give it to us.

"It" always ended up naked under the blanket, one article at a time. The unneeded item, however, was the blanket itself.

Always great fun to initiate the newby. We were never mean enough to pull off the blanket, though.

I sat in the middle and didn't play games. But often as not, I had a non-school book opened in my lap. So while it looked like I was looking at the text book on my desk, I was really reading novels from Catcher in the Rye to James Bond. There was a group of us that not only traded books but watched out for the nun to start moving from the front of the room.

Nope, never! They're hard to sneak up on when sleeping, and even harder to actually tip! Or so I've heard.
