Final day of a three-day juice fast and I'm torn between finding serenity and wanting to tackle that homeless man on the corner for his box of pilfered leftovers.

Spent 4 hours yesterday turning 5+ pounds of oranges into orange marmalade. My arm is so tired from slicing and stirring I can hardly lift it. Hope the marmalade sets and is worth it!!

Do you have a recipe? I used this one the beginning of fall and it turned out pretty good.

I did a combo of that one and Alton Brown's recipe and scaled up. Did your batch end up the consistency of a normal berry jam? I'm afraid mine will be slightly runny but I plan on using it in sauces and rubs so that shouldn't be too big of a problem. The fruit came from my brother's tree in Phoenix so I owe him a jar and a few to friends. Can't wait to roast a chicken with the marmalade this weekend.

Mine set up quite well. I used tiny jars to can it and handed them out as party favors. My citruses came from a couple of different friends' trees. I'm fixing a batch of limoncello now.

Yummy. Can you share your limoncello recipe? I've got about 10 lbs of lemons to use up too. I hate the idea of just juicing them and freezing them in cubes.

A friend of mine and I were in the liquor store the other day and happened upon a stack of CR Apple. Somehow that just seems wrong to fruit the Crown!

I don't have any smart watches. All mine are dumb. Hah, they're still smarter than I am. You ever looked inside one of those things?!

This is the recipe I've been using the last 8-9 years. The Cost Pluses in Phx no longer carry the suggested bottles, but I've found you can use a litre flip top bottle and be the life of the party.

You'll still have the juice with which to contend, though. So perhaps canning some lemon curd would be an option?

Not a big user of lemon curd. I have successfully frozen straight lemon juice in cubes and then dropped into water, sauces etc. There's also a lemonade concentrate that I've been thinking about making. I will definitely try that limoncello recipe though.

Every time I search Outlook for anything, it freezes the whole program up for several minutes. I've complained to IT multiple times. Do you have any idea how many times in a day a compliance person searches their email?

Have to prove you said something, have to prove they said something, have to repeat something you said three times before, have to find some email from some listserv or other. This is unreasonable and I'm going to start taking a five minute nap every time I hit the search button.

Mine freezes if I even TOUCH it! I think it freezes even if I THINK about touching it.
