not so much everyone around here

My 35 minute commute turned into an hour and a half thanks to the fog and some delightful semi-drivers that decided to play bumper trucks. Fun stuff....

Truckers are the same around here. Who needs to see to drive 65!?!?
They spend most there time watching "stuff" on their in dash DVD players any ways, so who has time to look at the road?

Speaking of Mondays that's why I wasn't visiting with you fine folks yesterday, I couldn't get on bol.

Hey Wolfy - be careful. There are many here who are almost that age or older.

I think that was tragic. I can see the man driving and not knowing where he's going and putting his faith in the GPS - and then watching his wife burn. Very sad.

That is so very sad. I am 5 months shy of that age, and I would hope if I saw barriers up on a road it would make me stop and think before traveling any farther. I wonder if they had been in this country for that long and just didn't understand what was going on?

I had a GPS send me left at a light, circle around this street, then take a right and at the next light take another right and the restaurant was just a few 100 ft away. I saw where we were at and realized the first light it told us to turn at we could have went straight a new feet and turned right into the restaurant! We were so busy trying to follow the GPS we never looked up and saw the restaurant!

I'm pretty sure there's a warning at the beginning of GPS that says it's not guaranteed to be 100% accurate and that you still need to pay actual attention to the roads and surroundings including other traffic and obeying things like stop lights.

It is sad, the police are investigating how he got around all the signs, cones and concrete blocks in order to get up there.

If there's a bottle of wine on my desk, then it's okay to drink it at work, right?

Darn it. I just missed a sales call from somebody who wanted to talk to me about SEC reporting. I would have been happy to tell him, that as a Big10 fan, I think much of sports reporting biased in favor of the SEC, and I'm sick of Seminoles and the Crimson Tide.

I'm not sure why he wanted my opinion on college sports reporting.
