I'm looking for an easier way to summarize the number of census tracts, grouping by low/mod/mid/upper, in my banks overall assessment area. We have a few counties that have several hundred tracks, and last time I pulled them up on the FFIEC by county and used cut and past to put them into excel tables to sort. Is there somewhere on the FFIEC site, or another source, where I can see the number of each track type by county?

I am not sure what exactly is the issue. If you are counting manually, you can simply do a pivot table and have results in minutes if not seconds.

If the problem is the cutting and pasting which can be tedious, you can use this windows application to obtain the data

http://www.ffiec.gov/censusapp.htm

There is a flat file as well with the entire country, but that is large and cumbersome. If you don't need the full country, it is more than you want.
