Not on the actual credit report itself, but on the "Risk Based Pricing" alternative disclosure "Your Credit Score and the Price You Pay for Credit".... there is the graph with the breakdown of the different percentages within the scores......
these scores start at 309-499 and go through 800-839.
I am thinking that someone from TransUnion told me to use 300-850 when you are filling out the portion of the "Statement of Credit Denial, Termination or Change" in the area of Scores Range from a low of ?? to a high of ?? .
I did not know if I should be using 309 - 839 or 300 - 850. ???

Does each credit bureau have their own range? The reason I'm asking is we have a system limitation in that the range of credit scores from the credit bureau does not populate correctly onto the adverse action notice. First of all, does the reg require they match? I thought we could default a range on the adverse action notice that covers all credit bureaus. For example, if 300-850 is the standard for Transunion, Experian, etc. we can enter that on every adverse action notice.

They have similar, but not identical, ranges. Here are the ranges I see:
Experian: 340-850
Transunion: 300-850
Equifax: 300-850

For Equifax I believe it may depend on the version you are using as well.

The ones we pull are 334-818

Is it a regulatory requirement that the range on the Credit Score Disclosure and the adverse action notice match?

I was written up recently from an audit regarding credit score range. We has 300-850. Was told should be 336-843.
Is the range suppose to match the range on the credit report? Is this in the regulation? Or are we suppose to use the range depending on the agency we are pulling from?

Thank you for your help.
