We finally watched it last night. I knew everything that was going to happen bc I was following along on Twitter Sunday night while we watched the Royals game.
I also agree that the ending was a cop out. I did enjoy the rest of the episode as far as being anxiety ridden from having the Saviors stalk our group. It was well planned out. And seeing the fear in Rick's face was heartbreaking. I really felt for him. He is the leader of this group and they were doing everything right until they messed with the wrong people - and there is nothing he can do now to change it.
I still think its Abe. I think his death will have a big affect on Sasha, with his whole baby-making speech he gave. And Eugene, losing the person he looks up to most.

I think I might be switching who Negan kills. There's a theory the POV scene is from the victim. Based on angles, it might be Michonne.

From the POV theory, it could also be Carl. (He is getting a little unnecessary to the story.)

That is about to change in a very big way.

In the graphic novel, Carl plays a very big part in the upcoming story lines and develops a unique relationship with Negan.

Late getting to this party but I hope it is not Michonne. I think either Abraham or Eugene and as a second the guy from Alexandria that tagged along (Deana's son I think) is expendable

But Michonne must have a real death wish now - She has to know that any woman that gets in bed with Rick ends up dying a terrible death ....so maybe

It appears Maggie may be the new boss of the group... Negan is in Rick's head now.

It was a brutal episode. Negan is one bad mother.

What an emotional exhausting episode for sure but seriously Negan .... get to the point. He talks way too much. Next week looks good - more new people from the comics that look promising

For those who don't want to know what happened, don't look at the other thread on this topic.

The character is known for the amount of talking he does in the comic, that is part of his appeal. I absolutely hated him when he first arrived; he is now one of my favorite characters. Based on his screen time thus far, he is much nastier than in the books. (Which is saying a lot.)

That being said, apparently they film two versions of each Negan scene: one we see on the weekly show and one for the DVD/Blu-Ray release with him dropping his F-bombs. The uncut version of last year's finale is online, just search for uncut Negan, season 6 finale. He unleashes it 23 or so times in around 12 minutes. Thing is, this is also his calling card from the books.
