Lost in a regulatory fog
That was my first thought Pale. Some foreshadowing perhaps? with everything Carl's been through it would not surprise me if he started keeping zombie heads in aquariums.

I was weirded out. I saw it coming right before it happened, but I don't think I've ever thought that that would happen. Plus, just 3 months ago he chopped off her girlfriend's arm and watch her get eaten alive!

Jesus will be an interesting addition. I read up on his comic story, so that makes me feel a little better, but he sure is sketchy!

I like them together. Makes sense for Rick to be with someone who can take care of herself and maybe stay alive for a little while and she can help keep his kids safe.

I don't know Jesus' comic book story, but glad to see a new interesting character.

I've thought for a long time that they were obvious candidates for pairing up.

As for Jesus, I don't know what to think!

@Dazed,

"Interesting episode last night. Finally some action. "

I assume you mean Rick and Michonne?

Yes, I was referring to Rick and Michonne. Although Tara and Denise seem quite chummy.

So now what...they build a community in Alexandria that is zombie-proof? That effectively kills the storyline, except for the occasional foray into the surrounding area for supplies. Something else is coming...my bet is that there will be some entity (governmental?) that has, or claims to have, a cure that will cause the remaining original core group to have to take a road trip to get it for the citizens of Alexandria. Otherwise, things will get boring pretty fast...

I think threats start coming more from the living rather than the dead now.

Jesus is from a similar community called Hilltop. Negan is the leader of the evil group called the Saviors and will likely make a shocking appearance in the seasons final episode. And of course the Wolves are still lurking. I think there will be more drama and conflict between these groups of survivors with the ever present threat of walkers still lingering.

And you also have

The Kingdom and King Ezekial with Shiva, his pet tiger. I love the medieval theme of that community and it will play out perfectly absurd on screen.
Things most certainly do not get boring from here on out. It is about to get as good as it has ever been. I cannot wait to see it on the screen.

Daryl, he is in big trouble when Negan shows up, isn't that right?

Pale,

In the comics Daryl doesn't exist and it is another big character that helps make Negan's entrance impactful (pun intended). That said, the producer is on record saying that character will not be involved in that scene so it is likely now Daryl. The problem I have is that can seriously impact a VERY important plot point in the future if it isn't the character from the comics.

Then again, I don't trust the producer of this show.

It appears all communities are lead by jerks during the zombie apocalypse.

I think that the term, "The Walking (Brain) Dead" effectively sums up this year's slate of potential candidates on both sides...

I'm guessing Rick & crew will be in for it when they go up against Neagan.

I'm wondering who'll pay the price. I'm guessing Daryl instead of Glenn.

I'm guessing Glenn, since Maggie negotiated the deal.

I vote Daryl also. They've had a decent amount of Daryl scenes, that make you care about him even more, lately.
