I'm about desperate. Does anyone know of any product out there that will produce ARM Disclosures for home equity lines and other ARM loans including the minimum payment example and all I would have to do is "plug" in the necessary information to produce them?

Our loan doc prep software has the capability of producing ARM disclosures this way. This may be an obvious question, but have you checked to see if yours might have this capability?

Compliance Systems Inc. in Grand Rapids offers a Windows-based program for designing this disclosure. It's pretty simple to use, and quite user-friendly. Call 800-968-8522.

I checked that company's price and it is expensive in my opinion. Does anyone else know of any others?

FINALLY ABOVE the gnat line
Bankers Systems does have a stand-alone program that produces both ARM disclosures and HELOC disclosures. All you have to do is choose your index, make sure it's updated, and answer their questions. It will produce what you need. I think they are going to discontinue this product because they are slowly integrating it into their loan documentation systems. It is DOS based but easy to use.

Bankers System has another program now that is not DOS based. I think it's called ARTA and it is very easy to use. We switched to it from the DOS based program because they were no longer going to update the index on the DOS one. I used it once and I think they still have the question and answer routine, it's been long enough I don't remember any details except that it was easy to use - I can't remember my password to get into it now so I can't give you any more details. (My DP department loves me.)

Send me your e-mail and I can share with you the MS Excel spreadsheet I got from the FED. It's very easy to use and I could walk you through it.

Jeff - Would you consider sending your Excel spreadsheet solution to BOL for posting, to avoid all these "me too" postings?

I would like to revive this thread....I have been ordered by the Fed to obtain the services of a vendor to do the 15 year historical example on HELOC disclosures. I had no luck in this original post. Bankers Systems is not an option. Can anyone think of a company to help me.

I will forward the spreadsheets I use for ARMs and HELOCs tomorrow (I have to run to another facility to be ready for the ID Theft WebCast in 90 minutes- I hope you are all registered, too).

Who should I forward them to at BankersOnline?

Andy, I kept looking and looking. You must have been sitting behind someone in San Antonio or El Paso. I saw them, but they were both wearing Stetsons (and chaps and spurs ).

I have forwarded some spreads to BOL for posting. When you come to the conclusion that only my convoluted mind can possibly understand them, feel free to call or e-mail.

I use ARM Disclosure Program from Greatland Corporation. Their number is 1-800-968-4890. We went with this software because the index we wanted to use was not available on Bankers Systems software. This is fairly easy to use, the only thing our recent FDIC compliance exam suggested was to have the date of the index being used.

Al's spreadsheets have been posted in Banker Tools under the Compliance part, named ARM Disclosures - Disclosure Spreads.

Thanks, Al!
