Do you include CRA protest letters as written comments in the Public File? I value any thoughts as I don’t feel they should since they are not generated under the CRA.

A letter from a community group that you as an institution are failing to meet the credit needs of the community?

If so, then yes I'd include it. I've also included letters from a city official on branch closings.

If you get a comment from a customer, do you redact the name and put in the file or not include in the public file?

Redact information - name, address, account numbers, etc.

We only include those comments that address the bank's ability to serve the credit needs of the community's in which it operates. As RRJen said - branch closings, consolidations, operating hour changes, and any comments about changes in products and/or service we would include as well.
