Hello. We have a customer that had 8 check transactions from his money market for the previous month. 6 are checks that were written to third parties. The other two were written to himself and cashed at another bank. Are the two written to himself covered transactions since they were done in person?

No. They must be done in person at the bank which holds the account in order to be excluded.

Many, if not most, banks assign a different tran code to "over the counter" transactions so they are not included in the total number of debits per month.
