I also read The Handmaid's Tale when it first came out, and later saw the movie. I was impressed by the book. Maybe some things haven't held up as well due to the many changes since it came out, but it truly made me think and still makes me shudder after all these years. I have yet to watch the Hulu series.

Started reading The Count of Monte Cristo again. I've been through it a few times. Really enjoy the story. Have to give credit to the movie for getting me interested enough to read it the first time through. Been hooked ever since.

"Beneath a Scarlet Sky" - Mark Sullivan. Its about a 17 year old trying to do his part in WWII in helping the Allies by being a spy while being the driver for a high ranking German officer. Good read.

A League of Giants by Kevin Hearne. Is it good? I love his Iron Druid series, but so far the new release price has kept me from picking this one up.

I’m 120 pages into a 600 page book. Got it from the library. Not loving it so far. I’ll keep you posted.

I started listening to it and had to stop 10 minutes in, I just couldn't connect. I'll try it again another time.

I've been struggling to finish one I started 6 weeks ago (Floating City - Eric van Lustbader), felt like I was so far in I needed to finish it. It just sits on the coffee table daring me to pick it up and keep reading. Have 5 other books behind it to read...guess I need to just toss it and move on.
