I have a loan to a reforester. They do not own the land, they operate under government contracts to reforest areas where the trees have been harvested.

Would this be considered a farm loan? It's not technically a forestry so I'm not sure what to do with this one.

Are the tress being planted done so with the intent to harvest again someday? So actual timber production? or just to repopulate the forest and let it grow? Where does the revenue come from? Trees harvested or government contracts/grants?

If it's the production side, I'd argue ag purpose. If it's the other...I'd go with business.

I have no idea what the intent is, it's being planted on government owned land so I doubt they even know what their future plans are!
