We have a few loans where the income calculates out to less than $500 and therefore the system rounds down to zero. The problem with that is we get a V654 - Income must be positive, negative or NA and cannot be blank.

I'm not sure what to do with this. frown

You should be able to report $0. This is from our HMDA training manual (Words in italics are verbatim. Words in non-italics is our plain English):

The HMDA rule does not …bar a financial institution from reporting an applicant’s gross annual income as ‘‘0’’ or even a negative number when that is the accurate figure that it relied on. [8/24/17 Federal Register – Page 43110]

I agree, David!

I wouldn't worry about it if it was a quality edit but the fact that it's a validity issue doesn't make me happy.
