Has anyone seen this come up on their Risk Assessments for New Accounts? I went to the site and they say as I understand it, that a consumer has the right to prohibit a consumer reporting agency from releasing any information in their consumer file without expressed authorization. In this case, we cannot see if there are charge-offs or other banks that they may has previously gone to - to open an account. If you have seen this, how are you handling it? It does also advise that taking advantage of this may delay or prevent timely approval from any user of your consumer report. Apparently not new. Site below for Florida Rights:
