We have just started Esign on Loans, we have a consumer non real estate loan that we sent to the customer to sign on 9/10/2020 they did not sent it back to the bank signed until 9/13/2020. When could we start charging interest on this loan would it be 9/10/2020 the date of the note or would it be 9/13/2020 the date the customer signed the note? Thanks

Well, I am sure that you did not fund the loan until you got signed documents and regardless of what is allowed under State law, your regulators would likely view charging consumers interest for a period before you fund a loan as a UDAAP.
