Did anyone notice that we keep better records of this than the awards shows who honor these people?

I'm a bit too young to have seen him play live, but i've seen footage.....the guy was an amazing athlete, and from all accounts, a very decent, upright man. R.I.P. Gale.

Yes, his "Frankenstrat" and his personal style created such a great sound.

having attended numerous Van Halen concerts in the early 80s at the height of their popularity, I have many great stories that, unfortunately, are not suitable for this site!

having attended numerous Van Halen concerts in the early 80s at the height of their popularity, I have many great stories that, unfortunately, are not suitable for this site! 1984, 2007, 2012, 2105 with DLR fronting And that doesn't include all of the Van Hagar shows in between, which I went to everyone. I'm beyond bummed about it. They are always my band and always will be. Did you get in your DeLorean to see them in 2105?

Fast typing typo, or cannot see what you are typing through your tears as you two watch your beloved Pats collapse?
