I'm sure most of you have dealt with similar discussions with your Boards. They won't approve a staff add without proper due diligence. I've done that, but they still want more and won't approve a third party to come in an look into our process, they want me to talk to other banks and just collect some data.

Before I ask this questions, I understand that every bank out there has a different customer base and different risk profile as well, not to mention systems/staffing/etc that play into their programs.

I am looking for some general information from some of you that might help me put together my third memo here:

If you want to share: What types of high risk customers do you have?

I've spoken to some larger banks ($120b+) who have a wider risk profile whom have a goal of 1/person/day goals set for their teams but they have casinos/private banking/international relationships/etc. I expect that number to be higher for a bank our size ~9b that only exists in a couple states, but any input would be greatly appreciated.

EDD Dedicated Staff: A rotating team of 7 (also do alerts, CTRs, and some account opening QC)
EDD GOALS: Looking for a number - investigation per day/month based on your bank's profile - about 4 per day
If you want to share: What types of high risk customers do you have? TPPPs, PATMs, Indirect Cannabis, NRAs, PSPs, NBFIs, MSBs, NGOs.
