For those banks who have something like a Community Development Manager/Officer - who is that person primarily reporting to?

ours reports up through our marketing team

ours are on the compliance side, responsible for CRA

In my smaller banks, the CDC Officer was the CRA Officer, and this individual always sat in compliance. At my current role, a larger bank, the CDC Officer sits in marketing.

Ours report to the first line business unit that they support. This is usually either a lending unit or a some piece of the branch network.
