Here is our scenario:
Two deposits into business account by clerk, with $5,800 cash.
One deposit into same business account by owner, with cash of $4,300.
Owner also makes personal cash deposits into his account, totaling $3,000. (this is the piece in question)

Deposits between clerk and owner on behalf of business aggregate to over $10k, so a CTR is required. Must we also include the separate cash deposits of the owner into his personal account? They alone don't aggregate to over $10, but have a common conductor, but the conductor's cash activity for this business day doesn't aggregate to over $10k either. A scenario we haven't dealt with prior. Can someone tell me what must be filed on? Thanks!

The owner did not conduct more than $10,000. The owner did not have more than $10,000 deposited on his behalf. The $3,000 deposit is excluded. You file on the $10,100 for the business and will have three part I's

Business - 2c and check box 3 - $10,100
Clerk - 2b and check box 3 $5,800
Owner - 2b $4,300
