It's Friday and I'm considering topics for Board Training later on in the year. Here are some of the ideas that I'm considering:

1. Fair Lending
2. Status of 1071 - Small Business Data Collection
3. OD Fees

What other topics would/are you considering for your Board training this year? Thanks in advance!

Agree - on the Fair Lending - concentrate on redlining and especially if any of your assessment areas use less than whole counties. Due to the 2001 the US Department of Justice (DOJ) “Combating Redlining Initiative,” regulators are taking an enhanced view of Redlining, going beyond what had been considered the standards over the past decade.

I would consider adding UDA(A)P and Complaints and would throw in the work that may come with ROVs as those will be complaints by an applicant about an appraisal under FL, made thru the bank. Then there is the question about any valid ROVs and what the bank has to do as a result.
