the day we are one of the the few banks that are open...even our clients think we are closed, so why aren't we...ugh

My bank experimented with being open on President's Day a few years ago. A total bust. Just about everyone opted to come in instead of using the floating holiday allotted for it. I think we did it for 2 years then stopped.

Don't guess i've ever understood why banks would try to distinguish between this federal holiday and that federal holiday. A simple "the bank is closed on federal holidays" would seem to be the path of least resistance to me.
