If using regulatory reporting software, has your vendor made available the OMB Boundry Changes updates and if so, when do you plan to begin using? Unless I misunderstood, in a recent ABA call thought a participant indicated they have no plans on installing the update until 3rd Q.

Connecticut
The new MSAs were effective January 1, 2024. A consequence is that many census tracts will have their income class revised. The FFIEC announced it will publish a new list of census tracts and their income class before March 31. Tract numbers will stay the same except in the state of CT because the state substituted regional planning areas for counties. This results in a change in tract numbers and also will affect which tracts are in which MSA.

A consequence of all this is that every bank will need to review its public file maps to see of they are affected by the new MSAs and update those maps by April 1, or as soon thereafter as possible

Thanks. Outside of CT, we had numerous MSA additions.
