When reducing an interest rate to 6% for SCRA Active Duty request, I have heard that reducing the payment is more than just reamortizing with the lowered rate. Can anyone give me direction on how exactly the actual loan payment is reduced?

Heard from whom and what did you hear? Maybe handling any retro activity by reposting any recent payments before the re-am?
