A customer just informed us that $325.00 was deducted from their account in error in December 2018. The wrong account number was on the withdrawal ticket and the funds were debited from the wrong account.

Since they didn't notify us within 60 days of receiving the statement, do we refund their money? The account the funds were to be taken from is now closed.

Withdrawal ticket? So not an electronic transaction? Then it goes back to what you have in your depositor's agreement or your State's UCC.

Pulling people out of the ditc...
if you had credited the client in error in 2018 and just now finding that out, would you ask the client for the money back?
