The AP has reported that SCOTUS, in a 7-2 decision (Alito and Gorsuch dissenting), has ruled that the funding mechanism for the CFPB in the Dodd-Frank Act is constitutional. The case had been brought by payday lenders who objected to the CFPB's payday lending rule.
