We have a number of customers that come to us asking for copies of checks they wrote that were converted to ACH; the request goes to the converting bank, sometimes they have them, sometimes they don't, depending how those are received from their customers (point of payment). curious how other banks are handling requests for getting copies of converted checks, or if you are or aren't attempting to gather

Probably the same customers who wanted their old savings passbooks updated long after their banks converted to statement savings accounts. Your customers who want copies of converted checks will have the same proof of payment (if that's what they are after) with their check registers and copies of their bank statements that show the check number, dollar amount, and depositor name.
