loved him in The Sandlot and Field of Dreams, but can't think of any movie he made that he wasn't outstanding.

He was great in the original Conan the Barbarian and as Admiral Greer in The Hunt for Red October. But for not wanting to be credited in the original Star Wars film for Vader's voice, it's interesting that towards the end of his life, he worked with Disney to preserve his voice so that they could digitally create new dialogue for Vader in future endeavors.

In hindsight, $9k is insane even for back then. The series would not have been the same without him.

not that i'm a huge baseball fan but the way Rose was treated by the MLB HOF process was deplorable. hopefully they award him posthumously, but i doubt they even do that.

especially in the light of the last couple of years with MLB embracing all the ad revenue from the gambling platforms.
