Curious how other banks handle DBA names in the core provider. Do you create a CIF for the DBA... flavor #1 is for every DBA, flavor #2 is only for DBAs that have a EIN/TIN. Or is everything just under the individual's CIF and then create additional names/aliases?

I searched "CIF" and got zero hits... hopefully I'm not just a terrible searcher!

If you are talking sole proprietorships, an EIN/TIN would only be for employee tax payments and an individual only gets one EIN/TIN no matter how many DBAs under which they operate, so that part is a little confusing. Sole proprietorships should be carried under the individuals SSN.
