Our bank is located in one state but we have an assessment area that includes our state and the neighboring state. Would a loan originated in the other state (but in the multi-state assessment area) be able to be a CDL (if the qualifications are met)?

Yes - as long as the CD benefits are enjoyed by persons in your multistate MSA which you say constitutes your CRA AA.

Thanks for the response, Len. What if the only hook I can see that fits is Revitalize/Stabilize? The business is purchasing a building in an enterprise zone and moderate-income census tract and performing renovations and will be hiring employees that definitely benefit the "other" state but since it is part of a MSA that includes my state does this still work?
