Hello,

California FI here: Can a California child support levy be enforced against funds on hand resulting from VA benefit deposits (XXVA Benefits)?

I believe child support levies trump the VA exempt status. If so, what documents need to be received to enforce the levy?

I can't speak any potential state-level protections.

But is there a Notice of Right to Garnish Federal Benefits attached? If so, then you do not follow 212.5 or 212.6.
