We have a person that received his statement, called us to say that 2 checks were fraudulent. the Call Center sent the call to bookkeepping who should have gave provisional credit and sent on the fraud for investigation. They did send the checks to fraud but now I find out they never gave the customer provision credit (has been 12 days today) Do return checks due to fraud follow Reg CC or UCC (if UCC is it article 3 or 4)? And what is the proper time limit to give credit (10 days or 45 depending on invetigation?) Thank you.
