Management has asked if the bank would be able to provide a rate increase to a contract employee. I would think this would be prohibited as to me they are still an employee of the bank; however, I wanted to ensure that I was thinking correctly.

If you are a National Bank or a member of the Fed, I would not want to have to explain the difference between an actual employee and a contract employee to an examiner.

I would agree but needed some confirmation as it is not always easy to get management to see things from my perspective. Thank you rlcarey.
