Not sure there is such a rule and if there is it may be state, safety and soundness, or compliance.
If your holding company owns an insurance company and a bank. Both in the same suite. And the bank has publicly committed to not share or disclose bank customer information without express written customer consent, do you find issue with the two entities sharing a fax machine?
Looking for any and all opinions and feed back.
Thanks

I'm not sure whether there is a law or whatever. Maybe this is a matter of privacy. I look at the fax machine as I do the mail - do they read each other's mail? If there are separate mail addresses for instance, you might want to extend the partition to the fax machine and bite the bullet and buy an additional machine. I don't have any experience to draw on but just gut instinct. Hope this helps somehow.

That was my instinct also; I just wanted to hear someone else say it as well
