I would like to know what software BOL users use to measure Interest Rate Risk, (IRR), as we are looking to buy a new one? It needs to measure changing rate environments? What is name of software, name of Vendor, price, etc... Thanks!

We use "Intercept" software. The risk monitor report is pulled from their call report software that we use. You would need to call them for the price of all software that would be necessary. The software is very user friendly. Their telephone # is 1-800-825-3772.

There are many models that a bank can use to measure, monitor and control interest rate risk. I consult with banks in Texas and have seen the Sendaro model, QRM model, MC Planning model, and Alex 2 model, as well as, a few home grown models. The complexity of your bank's balance sheet would dictate the type of model that you need.
