Becca, That is great news. I am so glad she is doing better.

Becca, you and Natalie are always in my thoughts. You're my roll model as we go through our challenges. While I don't post much anymore, I do keep up on what's up with little Bear I'm glad to read it's going well, and we'll keep those prayers going for even more good news in the future!

Like I've been kicked in the gut repeatedly...

I cannot post. I am numb.
Here is the email that I just got from the hospital:

Hi Becca,
Dr. Superina finally responded to my request - I just got his email today. He says the cholangiogram still shows pretty "sick ducts" and that leaving the tube in longer would not help. He mentioned retransplant (I'm saying this here because I seem to recall that he did mention this to you when you saw him last) as the next step. I'll confirm that with you. I will discuss Natalie with the team, see if everyone is in agreement re: pulling the tube.


Holy [censored]. Does that mean we watch her get sicker while we wait?

I did just call and Joan, the nurse practitioner that I got this from, is not leaning towards having the tube pulled. She is on her way to the good doctor's office for a face to face talk.

She is currently listed, although it's inactive, but at least we won't have to go through insurance approval again, like that is really what I care about right now anyway.

Becca, I don't know what to say. With all that you have been through over the past couple of years, this must have been an unimaginable e-mail to receive.

Just know that your BOL family is here and have never stopped praying for you and Natalie.

Hang in there Super Mom! You will be in my thoughts. Keep us posted.

Well D%#n!!! I am sooooo sorry to hear this unwelcome news--I am pretty sure what I really wanted to say would be censored. "That is the pits!" just doesn't quite cover it.
