Has anyone decided what ID they are going to get from customers who want to open an account through the mail or if a customer wants to add a joint who is not able to come in to show ID? I thought about asking to get the signature notarized as well as a copy of their DL and SS Card. Does anyone have an opinion? Thanks!

That's what we're going to do. There are corporations who do all their check writing, etc. from headquarters miles away from here, yet their local offices make all the deposits and such. We'll require their notarized signatures on the card and also the resolution as well as a copy of their photo ID.

I agree here. Our ops area also made up a handy 'get to know you' form to send to customers requesting all of this information.

Scroll to the bottom of this page and look at "Contact Us" for Michele's address. I'd start there.

Has this been posted yet? I can't seem to find it - but maybe I'm not looking in the right place.
