In the fall PCI will be having a CRA conference in Texas (Austin I think?). This is a valuable program to attend as it's specifically CRA oriented. While it is hosted by a vendor, it is not geared towards product users, but is instead a general CRA training seminar.
In addition to the main seminar they have classes a day prior to the seminar you can attend called "CRA Essentials" and Fair Lending Essentials (if fair lending is your cup of tea as well)

These are four hour classes specific to "CRA 101" and are great for beginning CRA officers. They cost a bit more (few hundred bucks) but students have told me they are worth it.
I have to disclose that I have been the instructor for CRA Essentials in the past with other instructors, so I'm biased on their value

But I'm not paid to teach them so I'm not swaying you to a seminar I have any personal interest or gain from promoting.

There are just so few seminars that are CRA specific out there that we folks have to stick together! In 2006 there will be a great seminar in California put on by the San Francisco Fed Reserve which should also be on your calendar. They do their seminar every two years, and again, while I'm normally on the docket to yap

I still get a great deal out of the programs myself that I attend after I run my mouth off in my own area of expertise
